Abstract
Ushbu maqola zamonaviy ingliz tilini o‘qitish jarayonida an’anaviy diktant va grammatik mashqlarning kamayib borishi muammosini tahlil qiladi. Tadqiqotda kommunikativ yondashuvlarning ustunligi natijasida o‘quvchilarning nutq ravonligi oshgani, biroq grammatik aniqlik, imlo va yozma nutq ko‘nikmalarida muayyan kamchiliklar yuzaga kelgani aniqlangan. Maqolada an’anaviy va zamonaviy metodlarning afzalliklari solishtirilib, ularni uyg‘unlashtirish zarurligi asoslab beriladi. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, til o‘rgatishda muvozanatli yondashuv eng samarali hisoblanadi.
