Abstract
This article explores the various pronunciation types of English spoken in the United States, analyzing key regional dialects and their distinguishing phonetic features. It discusses how American English is not a monolithic form but a rich spectrum of regional accents shaped by historical, cultural, and social influences. Special attention is paid to General American, Southern American English, African American Vernacular English (AAVE), New York City English, and other regional varieties.
