Abstract

This article analyzes modern approaches to the prevention and rehabilitation of gonarthrosis, a widespread degenerative disease of the knee joint. The study examines the main factors contributing to the development of the disease, including excess body weight, physical inactivity, and excessive stress on the joint. It also highlights the importance of preventive measures, particularly the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the role of therapeutic physical training (exercise therapy, LFK). The effectiveness of physiotherapy, medications, massage, kinesiotherapy, and orthopedic devices used in the rehabilitation process is analyzed. The article concludes that a comprehensive approach plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life of patients suffering from gonarthrosis.
