Abstract
This article discusses the pharmacological characteristics, mechanisms of action, classification, and clinical applications of anxiolytic agents, sedative drugs, and medications affecting muscarinic cholinergic receptors. The study was based on a comparative analysis of authoritative pharmacology textbooks and scientific literature. The findings demonstrated the effects of anxiolytics and sedatives on the central nervous system and highlighted the physiological and therapeutic significance of muscarinic agonists and antagonists. These data are important for the rational selection and safe use of drugs in clinical practice.References
