Abstract
Fazodagi analitik geometriya sirt va chiziqlarni ularning tenglamalari orqali algebraik usullarda o‘rganadi. Bunda asosan ikkita masala qaraladi:
- berilgan tenglama fazoda qanday obyektni ifodalashini aniqlash;
- berilgan geometrik obyekt tenglamasini topish.
Fazodagi eng sodda sirt bo‘lmish tekislik I tartibli tenglama bilan ifodalanadi va aksincha, har qanday I tartibli tenglama fazoda biror sirtni aniqlaydi. Tekisliklarning xususiyatlarini ularning umumiy, kesmalardagi va normal tenglamalari yordamida o‘rganish mumkin. Kerak bo‘lganda bu tenglamalarning biridan ikkinchisiga o‘tib bo‘ladi.
