Abstract
This article provides a comparative analysis of abdominoplasty and liposuction procedures widely used in modern aesthetic plastic surgery, highlighting their clinical significance, indications for use, advantages, limitations, and practical effectiveness. Literature analysis shows that liposuction is an effective method for correcting local fatty deposits, while abdominoplasty yields high results in cases of skin ptosis of the anterior abdominal wall, muscle diastasis, and tissue relaxation. In modern approaches, it is possible to improve aesthetic and functional results by combining these two methods, specifically through lipoabdominoplasty.
