Abstract

Lug‘at o‘qitish chet tilini o‘zlashtirishning asosiy tarkibiy qismi bo‘lib, ayniqsa maxsus maqsadlarga yo‘naltirilgan ingliz tili (ESP) ta’limida muhim o‘rin tutadi. Talabalarning kasbiy faoliyati uchun zarur bo‘lgan termin va iboralarni egallashi ularning nafaqat samarali muloqotini, balki professional kompetensiyasini ham belgilaydi. Matematika yo‘nalishida ta’lim olayotgan talabalar ingliz tilidagi mutaxassislikka oid matnlarni o‘qishda qator leksik qiyinchiliklarga duch kelmoqdalar. Buning asosiy sabablari sifatida matematik atamalarning mavhumligi, matematik tilning o‘ziga xos rasmiy registrga ega ekanligi, ramz va formulalar bilan boyitilgani, shuningdek, murakkab akademik leksikaning tushunilishi qiyinligi qayd etiladi.
