Abstract
Mazkur tadqiqot English va Uzbek nutqida modal-kiritmalar (so‘zlovchining munosabati, ishonch darajasi, hissiy reaksiya yoki baho signalini gapga “qo‘shimcha qatlam” sifatida kiritadigan birliklar) qanday ishlashini pragmatik nuqtayi nazardan taqqoslaydi. Asosiy e’tibor baholash mexanizmlariga qaratiladi: fikrning kuchayishi yoki yumshashi, mas’uliyatni taqsimlash (menimcha / I think), e’tiroz va murosani belgilash (to‘g‘risi / frankly), hamda tinglovchiga yo‘naltirilgan “muloyim boshqaruv” (balki / maybe).
