Abstract
Kazuo Ishiguroning “The Remains of the Day” romani inson xotirasi, pushaymonlik va shaxsiy identitet masalalarini chuqur tahlil qiladi. Bosh qahramon Stivensning hayoti va xizmatga sodiqligi orqali asar ijtimoiy rol va shaxsiy ehtiyojlar o‘rtasidagi ziddiyatni ochib beradi. Roman xotiraning subyektivligi va kechikkan anglashning inson ruhiyatidagi o‘rnini ko‘rsatadi.
