Abstract
This article explores the most common psychological barriers faced by learners of English as a foreign language. These include fear of making mistakes, lack of confidence, anxiety in speaking, and low motivation. The article discusses how these factors negatively affect language acquisition and classroom participation. It also offers practical suggestions for educators and learners to overcome these challenges, such as creating a supportive learning environment, using positive reinforcement, and promoting interactive activities that build self-esteem and communication skills.
