Abstract
This work analyzes the psychological factors that cause insomnia and its impact on the physiology of the body. Psychological factors such as stress, anxiety, depression, emotional stress and improper sleep habits are shown as the main factors in the disruption of the sleep process. The impact of insomnia on the body is explained by hormonal imbalance, weakened immunity, deterioration of the cardiovascular system, and metabolic changes. Also, cognitive functions - attention, memory and emotional stability - are noted as one of the important consequences of insomnia. The results of the study show that adherence to sleep hygiene and support for psychological health are important in preventing insomnia.
