Abstract

The ancient city of Ayutthai, located in present-day Thailand, holds an exceptional historical significance as the capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom from the 14th to the 18th century. This scientific article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the archaeological findings and historical context of Ancient Ayutthai. By examining its urban layout, architectural achievements, cultural influences, economic prosperity, and eventual decline, we shed light on the city’s glorious past and its lasting impact on Thai culture and heritage.
