Abstract
This article examines the use of metaphor in political discourse, highlighting its importance as a rhetorical tool that shapes public opinion and influences political communication. Metaphors serve not only as linguistic tools but also as cognitive frameworks that help people understand complex political concepts and issues. By analyzing a variety of political speeches, campaign materials, and media coverage, we explore how metaphors work to evoke emotions, create vivid images, and simplify complex political ideas for a wider audience.
