Abstract

Graphic novels have gained increasing recognition as effective instructional resources in English as a Second Language (ESL) classrooms. By combining visual elements with written text, graphic novels support language comprehension, motivate learners, and promote multimodal literacy. This article provides an original and plagiarism-resistant discussion of practical tips for using graphic novels in the ESL classroom. It explores pedagogical benefits, instructional strategies, and classroom applications, emphasizing how graphic novels can enhance reading, vocabulary development, speaking, and critical thinking skills among ESL learners
