Abstract
Mazkur maqolada IX-XVII asrlarda Termiz sayyidlari institutining Movarounnahr (O‘rta Osiyo) ijtimoiy-siyosiy hayotidagi roli tarixiy-sotsiologik yondashuv asosida tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda “sayyid” maqomi nasabiy sharaf belgisi bo‘lish bilan birga siyosiy legitimatsiya, ijtimoiy vositachilik (mediatsiya), shariat-huquqiy me’yorlarni jamiyatga singdirish, vaqf-xayriya tizimi orqali resurslarni boshqarish hamda ziyorat madaniyati yordamida hududiy birdamlikni mustahkamlash kabi ko‘p funksiyali institut sifatida talqin etiladi.
