Abstract
This article discusses the methods used in the organization of coursework to improve the methodology of teaching mathematics in secondary schools. The actual topic of the problem is the importance of competencies, tasks, and its essence, which are supposed to be formed in students, as well as the fact that at present a competence-based approach can be used in the learning process in secondary schools for students to acquire knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for their effective use in personal, social, and professional life.References
