Description
In qualitative research, the function of documents as a data source is explored in this paper, as well as the application of the document analysis technique to actual research contexts. The paper is a nuts-and-bolts paper, aimed at researchnovices. It describes the nature and forms of documents, outlines the benefits and drawbacks of document analysis, and provides concrete examples of how documents can be used in the research process. The application of document analysis to a grounded theory research is shown
