Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of nano-sized hydroxyapatite (nano-HAp) and calcium-phosphate-based nano-phase chemical compounds in remineralizing tooth enamel compared to conventional fluoride methods. The results show that nano-phase compounds have a higher chemical affinity for tooth enamel and can penetrate deeper into the enamel prisms, making them a more effective agent for preventing caries.
