Abstract
The article discusses the necessity of studying the bioecology of reptiles in the Kattaqum sandy massif in Surkhandarya region. The natural and geographical features of the area, existing scientific sources, and methodological approaches used in field research are analyzed. The conclusions are based on existing scientific literature, ecological assessment reports, and official documents on biodiversity conservation in Uzbekistan.References
